Real Estate Web Design Basics

REAL ESTATE WEB DESIGN BASICS

The effective real estate Web design includes useful information for customers and for search engines. The theory is that if you do a good job of being helpful and useful to your customers and prospects that you will eventually end up highly placed on the search engines. This is not totally true, but there are some grains of truth. One problem is that not everybody agrees on effective real estate web design for prospects. Some want their Website to be all about themselves and how helpful they are to customers. A Website that is designed around this approach might find itself highly ranked for the agent’s name but since most prospects are not looking for agents by name, the search engine placement will not be very useful. Second, even if you focus on real estate in your area instead of yourself you must make sure that a certain number of pages on your Website are written precisely for search engines and take into consideration that search engines require a certain amount of repetition and that they do not understand pronouns. Third, effective real estate Web design uses graphics and site architecture judiciously. Since search engines do not see graphics, it is counterproductive to create all your Web pages as graphics. Since search engines do not see inside frames, real estate Web design based on frames is counterproductive.
