A Website’s content is extremely important. By content, I mean the words on the pages of your Website. The search engines scan your Web content with a computer program they call a Robot or a Spider. Their robots are programmed to look for patterns and significant words and phrases within the Website’s content. A skilled optimization writer can provide content that will guide the search engines as to the best placement for the Website being designed. In other words, the words that your Web designer chooses to use on your Website can make or break your Website in terms of placement.

Certain Meta tags that are part of your Website’s source code are important as well. Search engines look at the Keyword tag, the Description tag and the Page Title tag. Correct use of keywords and keyword phrases in these areas will guide the search engines as they decide where to place your Website and how high.
